Throwback Thursday !!
I’m propably the last person to write a 2022 year review at this time . It’s really hard to find time to do something for ourself when we start running for our loved ones !!
It’s been ages since I read , since I took a proper selfie or photo of myself . Everytime I look at the mirror I don’t feel like I’m seeing the person who was standing there few years ago. Life changes and I’m trying to appreciate the little things . I’m so grateful for what I have achieved and the person I have grown to be .
I just wanted to summarise my 2022 here , the things I’ve done , movies I loved and the places I’ve been to.
Let’s get started !!!
- I’ve travelled to few places within South India
- Munnar : It’s was an wonderful and peaceful trip , the things I loved about the trip was the resort where I stayed, Chandy’s windy woods their service , hospitality , food was excellent . It’s a great place to be with family . I didn’t go out much in Munnar as I loved to stay in the hotel itself . If I get to go back there I’ll definitely stay here again. https://www.chandyswindywoods.com/
- Varkala : It was a short trip for two days with family which was ok . I wouldn’t say I enjoyed much there as it was crowded and my hotel experience was not very great. I wouldn’t stay here again but my family found it ok for the price https://www.ashokamresort.com/
- Alappey Boat house : This was also a short one day stay in the boat house . I enjoyed this one with my family, even though there was some shortcommings with our boat . We where not taken to many places which other boats visited and was a bit costly . But still I had fun
- Kodaikkanal : This was a lovely trip . I loved the place , hotel and everything . One could definitely go there to enjoy the climate and have a peaceful time with family. - Movies and Series
- Ponniyin Selvan 1 : This is a tamil movie based on a novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy, in Tamil. It was first serialized in the weekly editions of Kalki, a Tamil magazine, from 29 October 1950 to 16 May 1954 and later integrated into five volumes in 1955 . On knowing the whole story I went to the premire with lots of expectations .Movie did a good job , though they had to cut down various scenes from the novel as it can’t be fit into a 2 hour movie . But I really enjoyed and had a good time with the movie
- Thunivu and Varisu : I didn’t enjoy these two highly expected movies . Story was not good , acting was flawed . I hated it
- I watched tons for movies and series in Netflix , honestly I don’t even remember the names of those . But I loved Wednesday it was good . I rewatched Big bang theory atleast 20 times , that’s my stress buster
- Food
- I tried some new items which I havent tasted in my entire lifetime . Nothing specific or great to review about
- I didn’t cook much the past year , my mom helped me in that
I know this is nothing and it’s a very small blog, but I got a job as a test engineer and that’s going great . I was really busy with work . I hope to do much this year and write more blogs for myself and spend some me time .
