BEETROOT CUTLET

All the mothers of newborns who are managing everything all alone needs a great appreciation including me. I may not be perfect but doing things with love is far better than perfection . One such preparation made with love is this cutlet.

INGREDIENTS:

*Onion -1

*Beetroot-Large grated

*Chilli powder

*Corriander powder

*Cumin powder

*Garam masala powder

*Bread- 1 slice

*Paneer-100grams grated

*Corn flour

*Bread crumbs

*Fennel seeds

* Salt

PREPARATION:

*Take fennel seeds and onion in a pan with oil and saute well.

*Once the onions are sauted add the spice powders and salt to it and mix well

*Add the grated beetroot to the mixture and saute well till the raw smell leaves.

*Remove this in a bowl and let it cool. Once cooled add the grated paneer and crumbed bread slice to it. Mix this throughly with hand.

*Make this in to pattice and store it in a plate and let it cool down for 15-20 mins.

*Now mix cornflour in a bowl with water till it becomes a watery paste.

*Dip the pattice in cornflour and then dip it in bread crumbs and set aside.

*Take oil in a pan and place the pattice over it for shallow fry.

*Once the cutlets are ready serve it with ketchup.

Mine did not turn out to be a perfect round pattice ,but as said love overtook perfection 😉

                               Toodles…!!!
