RAGI PORRIDGE (2)

Already i have made a post for ragi porridge with rice. Preparing the same food everyday bores everyone, so i wanted to make a change in the recipe. Since ragi is a healthy choice meal experimenting with its recipe is totally worth it. I started cooking ragi only for the sake of my husband, now it has become a everyday meal in his menu.

     Ragi porridge can be made in different ways with different ingredients, this particular porridge is a spicy one. It can also be made as a sweet beverage.

INGREDIENTS:

*Ragiflour

*Curd/buttermilk

*Water

*Salt

For Seasoning:

*Mustard

*Urad dhal

*Dry red chilly

*Curry leaves

PREPARATION:

*Take ragi flour in a sauce pan , add little water to it.

*Heat the mixture till it gets a thick consistency, now take it off the heat and let it cool.

*Once cooled add curd/buttermilk , water and salt to the ragi mixture and give it a good mix.

*Now for seasoning take oil , mustard , urad dhal,curry leaves and dry red chilly . When it sizzles take it off the heat and pour over the ragi mixture.

*Thus over easy to make ragi porridge is ready.

Everyone can give this a try since it tastes good and is very healthy too.
