Im writing this article as a review about a series that i watched recently. I was bored and desperately searching for a new series to watch but was not sure what to watch ; i went through all the sites like hotstar, prime video, netflix in which i found NEW GIRL series in hotstar. The title and the poster image of the series caught my eyes. It was a bit hard to fit the series in my baby sitting schedule since my tv has no access to hotstar app and also hotstar doesnot permitt screen mirroring , so i had to watch the entire series in my mobile which my daughter does’nt like. I spent all her sleeping time watching this series.

       This series consist of seven seasons(fully completed) . The first season was telecasted in 2011 and the series finale was telecasted in 2018. There was around 146 episodes to watch. As the name suggests this series revolves around a new girl named Jessica Day (Jess) . The major characters are Jess’s roommates Nick, Winston ,schimdt and her best friend Cece. This is a romantic comedy series. It shows Jess as a carefree girl, Nick as a lovely person, Schimdt and Winston who are known for their jocosity and Cece who wants to be a model.They portray their friendship, romance, struggle,carrier in a funny way. This show will never fail to entertain us , it certainly made me laugh in most of the scenes. The only drawback i felt was that the story was very blunt but i really enjoyed it thoroughly. I would rate this series 3.5/5 , this surely receives a thumbs up. Do give this a try if you love spending your time watching series.Now as i have completed this one im searching for another series to watch.
